Despite of being a brilliant crossover between a coupe and a Sports utility vehicle, Honda Crosstour failed to impress the buyers when it was initially launched. As the name suggests, Crosstour is a crossover SUV and it was first unveiled in 2009. Partly an SUV, the car bears some strong resemblance with Honda Accord, but unlike the popular Accord, it did not succeed in gaining a hold over the market. Honda is ready to give their smart crossover a second chance, and therefore, they are up for a re-launch for this car as the 2017 Honda Crosstour concept. Of course, this time it’s going to come with a contemporary look with reinvented features to grab attention.

2017 Honda Crosstour Exterior and Interior

2017 Honda Crosstour seems to be sporting a brisk and almost-aggressive look. It has five doors, and in keeping with its improvised design, it will now use smaller wheels of 18 inch. The car doesn’t look anything extraordinary but has got a certain charm. It fuses class and durability and becomes a unique kind of car in the process. As for plastic changes, Honda has been attempting to keep them under the wrap until they decide to unveil their new offerings. Yet, we could spot a few changes which includes a revised bumper and all new chrome grilles. Alterations which have been introduced so far seem to be quite effective.

Interior of the 2017 Honda Crosstour looks very comfortable with the leather seats that are soft and relaxing. Honda is striving to make this project a success and they are not ready to leave any leaf unturned. So upholstery comprises of the finest leather that is going to impart a supremely luxurious feeling during long rides. There’s enough space inside this cabin.

The instrument panel and dashboard will see use of plastic, chrome and wood. Infotainment features have also been looked after: improved navigation system and audio system-speakers with high clarity being the basics. Safety equipments are not staying back either and some of the implemented safety features are: airbags, traction control system, anti breaking system, collision alert and others.

2017 Honda Crosstour Price and Release Date

To keep up with potential rivals like Toyota Venza and premium Aura TSX Sports Wagon, 2017 Honda Crosstour would be priced decently and therefore, it’s starting price should not exceed $28,000.
