Yet another in 2017 but this time it’s a sedan. This sedan which is also known as the 2017 Acura RLX is all set to go out in the current market. Acura, a Honda dealership has planned to give this car a hybrid AWD model. After it was being showcased at the New York Auto Show in 2014, people raised questions about the engine of this car. It was then Acura discussed this matter with Honda to go for hybrid system. Colour, class, technology, software and tyres are strong points of this car. It uses a seven speed DTC transmission which provides better pick and initial acceleration. Many new technologies in this car give a name “Technology car” to the RLX. Nevertheless, it will have a very good competition over Honda and Mercedes.

On exterior side, the LEDs are made up of xenon and neon bulbs which, provides better reflection capacity as these two gases have low refractive index. The decals which are new to Acura cars give an elegant look to this car. 2017 Acura RLX has a low sideline but it has a high ground clearance with a total height of 2.4 inches. There is hood at the top of the car which also gives new look to this car. Electronic doors are new and exciting to the customers. The trunk can be opened from inside from the dashboard but it has enough space to accommodate at least 50 kg of weight. The window glasses are black in colour thus reflecting sunlight which helps to keep inside cool.
This 2017 Acura RLX will be having an 8.8 inches flat screen in the dashboard where road search, movies, songs and navigation can be done with ease. It also has an Infotainment System updated to the version of 3.0. Full time GPS enables full on navigation and tracking of road. It also has 2.8 Bluetooth connectivity and Wi-Fi connection for 24×7. The seats are smooth and furnished with floor mats placed and sized perfectly. Movable seats help to clean the floor. The air conditioner is automatic as it cools the air inside this car as much is required. For entertainment, it has a dual Dolby speaker with bass boost and treble reducer.
2017 Acura RLX Engine Specs
Under the hood the RLX will have two engines of 3.5 liters, one is a hybrid engine. It can power up by 310 HP and can produce a torque of 272 lb-ft. Another engine which is available for customer to buy is a V6 engine with higher horsepower but lesser torque. It can accelerate to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds. All the engines are designed to be run into a seven speed automatic transmission with 6 gearbox combinations. It provides a mileage of 25 mpg in speedy roads and 32 mpg on highways. There is an extra battery and power option for this car.

After many discussions, Acura decided to start with $52,000 and they will make the 2017 Acura RLX available in the mid of 2017.
