Even though it is a bit slower, heavier and more expensive than standard Civic models, it still appeals to a lot of buyers. Latest model of this vehicle is distributed in as many as 37 states. This brings the model a step closer to mainstream models. Just like rest of Civic models, Natural Gas model also recently got updated in lower bumper with chrome accents, clear lens corner lights, more sculpted hood and black honeycomb mesh grille. At the back, it gets a new bumper along with lower diffuser panel having honeycomb mesh vent.

Another noticeable difference in powertrain department of this vehicle is the lack of availability of manual gearbox, with standard 5 speed auto transmission being the only transmission available.
This vehicle has a fuel economy of 27 mpg on city roads and 38 mpg on highway. This is a bit lower than gasoline model.
