Honda is returning in the small SUV/crossover (subcompact) segment with 2018 HR-V. The current generation model seems to lack behind in some parameters like safety tech, but automakers ensure those will improve in 2018 Honda HR-V.

Other than that, the impressive interior package of 2017 model will be retained and slight exterior cosmetic refreshments might be done. Honda has designed this CUV to sit below CR-V for competing with the likes of Jeep Renegade, Chevrolet Trax, and Mazda CX-3. 2018 Honda HR-V Engine Specs                           

The 2018 Honda HR-V will carry the engine existing in the HR-V. This engine is a 1.8 liter (1799cc) 4 cylinder gasoline burner that produces 141 HP at 6,500 RPM and 127 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 RPM. Further details of its engine goes:

It is evident that the 2017 Honda HR-V shares its exuberant styling with CR-V and this will be retained in the 2018 model too. The lookalike headlights and grille will be brought along with some fresh refinements.

Honda will also retain the 17-inch aluminum alloy wheel which is sporty and have low profile tires. Exterior changes will mostly influence the hood which might adopt new scoops and flanked fenders.

Interior

The interior cabin of existing HR-V benefits from a great noise insulation which will see further improvements in 2018 Honda HR-V. As there’s no dual screen clutter in the existing model, 2018 HR-V is likely to incorporate it. However, the single infotainment screen will also be carried over in this cabin.
