Let’s start with changes on the 2019 Honda CBR1000RR. Electronics are suffering the most modifications. Wheelie controls are detached from traction control. Now, riders can command separately with different amounts of interventions. Also, ECU is getting smarter. Now, it recognizes slides and wheelspin, or wheelie. The traction is better and safer with it. There is a W setting with three position on the dashboard – HSTC, Engine Brake, and Power.
Furthermore, the Japanese company improves the ABS setup. Now, it makes less effort for speeds above 120 kmh. Deceleration is decreased by 15 percent. Also, the motor is quicker at ride-by-wire mode. Throttle reacts faster, no matter if you ate on a straight path, or outside corners. Also the brake, so your 2019 Honda CBR1000RR will go down to stop faster than before.
Engine Specs
The powertrain of the 2019 Honda CBR1000RR remains a 999.8 cc unit with a six-speed manual transmission. The front suspension is Showa inverted fork, and ProLink twin-sided swing arm is rear. For the CBR1000RR SP version, rear suspension manufacturer is Ohlins. Wheelbase is 55 inches long and curb weight is 430 pounds. Seat height remains at 32 inches, which gives riders a great view. Dunlop tires are standard for the base model, while the SP bike gets tires by Bridgestone.

The base model of the 2019 Honda CBR1000RR will cost $16,500. With the ABS system, the price jumps by $3000, while the Ohlins rear suspension setup is more expensive. This bike will cost you at least $20,000. Black and Gran Prix Red are available colors for standard and ABS models, while the SP motorcycle is painted in Grand Prix tri-color scheme.
