The engine will be V-twin with electric starter, 79×76 mm bore and stroke and 9:6:1 compression ratio. The manual transmission will have 5 gears and valve configuration is SOHC. The brakes are discs for front wheel and drum on the rear one.

The main rival for new 2019 Honda shadow Phantom is definitely Suzuki Boulevard S40. There is also Kawasaki and Harley on the board but in this segment only. The true Honda fans will not accept the alternative for the smaller edition of Rebel 500 bike.
The new 2019 Honda Shadow Phantom is going to cost about $7800. Comparing with the Harley street model under 750cc it costs more. The release date of this model is expected to be at the end of this year.
