The upcoming 2020 Nissan Frontier is a mid-size pickup truck that offers great interior and exterior design. Also, this pickup truck is very affordable. The upcoming 2020 Nissan Frontier model will be offered with the same engines as the predecessor. The first powertrain that is the base one is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. Powertrain under this pickup will make 155 horses and 175 lb-ft of torque.
Also, it comes with a 5-speed manual and automatic gearboxes, along with the two or four-wheel-drive setups. The fuel economy of this engine from some test is 22 mpg. The next one that is optional is more powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine capable to produces 265 HP and 285 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available with 6-speed automatic transmission.
Towing capacity
The towing capacity of the newest 2020 Nissan Frontier is decent. With the standard or base engine, this pickup can tow up to 3,500 pounds. However, with the optional one, the number will grow up to 6500 pounds.
Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2020 Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup truck comes with a minor refresh. So, the price will remain the same. We assume that this model will cost around $22,500. This price is affordable if we compare it to the other pickups.
However, if one chooses the V6 Crew Cab model, the price will go up to 10.500 more or total $33,000. The release date of 2020 Nissan Frontier will be at the end of 2019 or the beginning of 2020.
