The redesigned 2021 Honda Element is confirmed for the following year. As you may know, Honda Element is a stylish crossover that provides boxy design. This model is highly rated in the crossover SUV segment. So, what we can expect from the next-gen model? The new SUV will get a redesigned cabin, more attractive exterior, and safety will be on a higher level.
Also, as before, the manufacturer will use the same powertrains. There will be two of them. The 2.4-liter engine can deliver around 200 horsepower, and the next one is an optional 1.5-liter turbo engine.
2021 Honda Element Redesign
The forthcoming 2021 Honda Element will be refreshed for the next year. However, the new model will come with the same styling as before. The manufacturer will use boxy design, and it will add sharper lines according to recent news. Honda Element is known for its weird look.
The front of this SUV is adorned by the attractive grille and new LED headlights system. Also, the rear of this SUV provides revised taillights and sharper lines. Furthermore, thanks to its dimensions and high profile, this SUV is easy to maneuver and easier to park. As before, tailgating and wide-opening cargo doors make loading much more accessible.
Cabin Updates
The interior of the upcoming 2021 Honda Element will be stylish and more pet-friendly. According to some information, the manufacturer will use more quality materials and techs inside. Also, this model provides excellent space inside. As before, Element will continue to offer two rows of seats, and it can accommodate five passengers. The cabin of this SUV offers excellent enhanced visibility like the upcoming CR-V model.
Tech is also up to date, and the 2021 Honda Element with the LX trim will gain more features. The standard package will bring automatic climate, AM/FM/CD with 4-speaker, cruise control, lane assist system, and much more. Choosing upper trim EX that costs $2000 more, customers will get this powerful sound system with seven speakers and 270 watts power, XM radio, MP3/WMA capability, and digital dash.
Dog-Friendly Package
As we already mentioned, this SUV is pet-friendly and it comes with a dog-friendly package. This package offers soft-sided crate with a built-in, spill-resistant water bowl, portable ramp to give dogs access to the container and so on.
Under the hood
The 2021 Honda Element is a unique SUV that will be available with two engine variants. Both powertrains are available also on the current model. The first engine that powers this model is a 2.4-liter engine that can deliver around 200 horsepower.
The second and optional engine is a 1.5-liter turbo. This version provides a stronger output of around 210 horses and it will get a start/stop system that will significantly improve fuel economy. Unfortunately, at this moment, there is no available fuel rate. However, the current model with the same engine provides 24 mpg combined.
2021 Honda Element Arrival Date and Cost
The 2021 Honda Element is scheduled for the following year. The new version will bring some refreshments, and we can expect a more futuristic look this time. According to some speculations, Honda Element will be in the range from $20,000 and $25,000 for the base model. However, the upper trim like EX will start at $30,000.
Thank you for your article. Just a follow-up question: I have checked with every Honda dealership here in San Antonio and not one of them can verify that the Element is being resurrected. The managers went into the Honda ordering system to see if it will be available and they say no. Has the date been moved due to Covid issues or has Honda changed their production plan? Finally, when do you think it will be available for dealers to order? November to December 2020 or later in 2021.
I have one question does the New Element comes with Standard MANUAL 5 or 6 speed?
As the owner of an 06 EX (P) with 103K miles and a small, 13 pound dog, a “dog friendly” extra is ridiculous. My dog loves jumping into the car and up on the passenger seat–no help needed.
I am a bicyclist so the most important feature is standing-up room for the bike and the security of locking the bike and gear in the car.
I would work on improving seat comfort and the “A” pillar blind spots.
There are quite a few of us in the United States who would like one. My husband and I still drive our 2007 Honda Element EX with a manual transmission. We haven’t purchased a new vehicle because we heard the Element is coming back. Can u please let us know if it’s coming to The States? Thanks, Lisa
Oh and we really would like a manual.
