The all-new 2021 Lexus NX is just one of the luxury crossovers in the compact segment. Whatsoever, you won’t find a better alternative for the American and German rivals. And while the 2020 model was a carryover, the 2021 NX will introduce mid-cycle refreshments. That means you can expect more standard amenities and a couple of cosmetic upgrades.
This crossover looks very premium and attractive. The arriving NX will look even more handsome. Moreover, the interior will introduce more high-quality materials. Under the bonnet, we don’t expect major changes. NX 300h is a crossover that deploys a hybrid powertrain and is also available. This model will go on sale in the last quarter of 2020.

2021 NX Exterior Changes
This crossover does not need significant changes at the moment. Of course, we are talking about its premium exterior design. The 2021 Lexus NX comes with an angry face and a sporty stance. The popular “spindle” grille is slightly revised. On top of that, Lexus will provide a slightly different shape of the headlights and taillights.
As for the vehicle’s dimensions, nothing will change. That means NX crossover continues to ride on the very same platform as its predecessor. Optionally, you can go for a larger grille, bigger wheels, and a lower body kit. Furthermore, the Japanese manufacturer will introduce new and exclusive exterior paints.
F Sport Package
Here’s one of the coolest things about the new 2021 Lexus NX. This crossover offers an optional F Sport package. This package offers a standard all-wheel-drive system and plenty of visual tweaks. On the other hand, it does not improve the overall performance. That means the F Sport is a visual package. However, Lexus will install different suspension.
18-inch wheels are looking more aggressive, and special tires are improving better ride quality. A Sport+ mode is available too, and it increases the throttle response. Unfortunately, the F Sport package isn’t available on the NX 300h version.

Gasoline and Hybrid Specs
Under the bonnet, next 2021 Lexus NX offers a turbo-four engine. Moreover, a hybrid powertrain is also available in the NX 300h variant. A 2.0-liter engine comes with a turbocharger, and it provides 235 horsepower. Moreover, a 6-speed automatic transmission is offered as standard. The customers can choose between front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive systems. As for the NX 300h version, this model combines a 2.5-liter engine with the electric motor and the battery pack.
Total output is rated at 194 hp, and the AWD system is standard. The regular version provides 24 mpg combined. On the other hand, a hybrid variant is rated at 31 mpg. Thanks to that, the 2021 NX 300h model offers class-leading fuel economy numbers. If you load the F Sport package, fuel economy loses one mpg.

2021 Lexus NX Price and Release Date
The price of the base model starts at $36,000. The upcoming 2021 Lexus NX crossover offers plenty of optional equipment, so the price goes over the $40,000 with ease. The Japanese manufacturer will release its new crossover later this year. Most likely, the NX model will go on sale in the last quarter of 2020.
